Private ambulance in the Marrakech Medina

In the Marrakech Medina, the narrow alleys make ambulance access difficult, but not impossible. Our teams combine equipped vehicles stationed at strategic access points with moto-equipped teams that reach the patient at the end of the derbs to stabilise them and prepare the evacuation. From the Kasbah to the Mellah, from Riad Zitoun to Bab Doukkala, we respond in under 30 minutes. Our teams are salaried members of SAMU Marrakech, trained in first aid, available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, compatible with your AMO and CNSS procedures.

A response adapted to the Medina's derbs

The narrow derbs of the Medina, around Jemaa el-Fna, the Koutoubia and the Bahia Palace, will not let a standard ambulance through. Our set-up works on two levels: a moto team equipped with oxygen and first-aid gear reaches the patient quickly inside the alleys to stabilise them, while a medical ambulance positions itself at the nearest drivable access point, on the edge of the Kasbah, the Mellah or Bab Doukkala. The patient is then moved, on foot with a stretcher and then by vehicle, to the most suitable hospital.

Nearby staging points and transfers

To keep a controlled response time despite the alleys, our ambulances position themselves at nearby staging points at the gates of the Medina: the edges of Riad Zitoun, Mouassine and Bab Doukkala. Our salaried teams, trained by SAMU Marrakech, also provide scheduled transfers from a riad or dar to a clinic or hospital: consultations, hospital discharges, returns home. We coordinate access and timing for a smooth journey, day and night, and prepare the documents for your AMO and CNSS reimbursements.
