Home Diabetes Care in Marrakech

SAMU Marrakech provides comprehensive home diabetes care, delivered by state-certified nurses (IDE). Our nurses perform blood sugar monitoring (glucometer readings), administer insulin injections and adjust doses per the prescription, monitor vital signs and detect signs of hypoglycaemia or hyperglycaemia. They provide diabetic foot care — inspection, prevention and management of foot wounds, in coordination with our wound care and dressings. They also deliver therapeutic education for the patient and family, in coordination with our home nursing service.
